Final facilities planning workshop tonight; CMSD gathers community input on building plans
CMSD News Bureau
Monday, 12/16/13
The 6 p.m. meeting and facilities planning workshop today at Paul Dunbar School may be the last of 13 community sessions (see a video of the very first session, above) held by The District and consultant The Cobalt Group -- but it's not the end of information and opinion gathering about building plans.
First, consider attending tonight's session at 2159 W. 29th Street, where you can hear a presentation from
Patrick Zohn, the district's chief operating officer. (You can also download the presentation.) Those attending the meeting then break into work groups to help CMSD prepare its plan to continue a construction project that started in 2001.
Voters passed a bond issue in 2001 and since then, the district has built 31 new schools, renovated seven others and has three more under construction now.
If you can't make the meeting tonight, you can still take the online survey or send an email to CMSDMasterPlan@ClevelandMetroSchools.org
